Celebi

Here is a little Celebi. I decided to finish it because Furret wanted me to do it from my little journal 'poll' thingy. And you know, I didn't think I would get this finished! YAY! INSPIRATION! Now, if you want you can now listen to my hour long rant.

Rant:

10 hrs? 15 hrs? 20 hrs? 30 hrs!?

Honest to god. This took for, freaking ever! So, I started this at the beginning of term 4? Now it's the holidays and only now i'm done... The first session took like 5 hours straight for the outlines cuz i'm stupid and I didn't sketch a copy on paper for the general anatomy and I didn't think of a background... The second session was base colours and celebi shading for... like another 5 hours? Then the rose for another 5 hours... I spent so long on the first rose without a reference then I looked at it again and saw so many flaws so I then spent another three hours creating another rose based on a reference. UGH! By then the background was a simple white to blue gradient. Yet another 5 hours on deciding on what background to do! First a forest, than pine trees then water then I finally settled on the Ilex forest with celebis shrine and a little pool. branch, leaves (I had to make a brush for the leaves in the background because i couldn't get the right look), tree trunks, copying the water from my milotic drawing cuz im lazy, grass and finally I sat down for the final 5 hour session. Lighting... I thought that I would only use a little luminosity... I was wrong... PILE IT ON THICK PEOPLE!!! Yes... lots of glowy stuff... It's kinda my specialty
